We enjoyed a beautiful, breezy, brisk day for the first traditional event of the year, Best of the Heights. Traditional events are walks in which we meet on a specific day and within a specific time window to complete a walk. It’s a great way to meet fellow Volksmarchers, ask questions, and explore new areas.
Physical start boxes and Online Start boxes feature walks you can choose to complete any time that walking area is open to the public. Each club chooses a certain number of walks to feature each year as PSBs and OSBs. During traditional events like Best of the Heights, clubs often feature favorite walks that have been taken off the PSB or OSB for the year, or chart a custom course for a new area. Best of the Heights is a special course only offered during this annual year kick-off event!
