Mission San Jose to Mission San Juan
Wednesday Walk! National Grammar Day. I am the grammarian about whom your mother warned you 🙂
5K or 12K. Check-in from 8:00am to 8:30am, then walk and finish at your own pace.
Enjoy river views and water features on wide paved trails en route between the “Queen of the Missions,” Mission San Jose, and, for 12K walkers, Mission San Juan. At Mission San Juan, see the Espada acequia dam, in use since 1731 and still in use by local farmer including nearby fields which supply the San Antonio Food Bank. In the spring, enjoy effusive wildflowers. The San Antonio missions, including Missions San Jose and San Juan, are a UNESCO World Heritage site.
