In the spring\, enjoy effusive wildflowers. The San Antonio missions\, including Missions San Jose and San Juan\, are a UNESCO World Heritage site.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for 3 days of walks at the annual Texas Volkssport Association meeting! Come out before meeting later today to explore the Nature Center and Preserve. The first 50 AVA walkers get in free – **Mention “TVA Meeting”** \n5K or 10K. Check in from 8:15am-10:15am. \nStop at the gatehouse to buy a day pass and get a map. The Preserve opens at 8am but the restroom at the Interpretive Center is not available until 9am when the Center opens. There are several restrooms in the Preserve but none on the walk routes. \nEnjoy 3\,621 aces of forests\, prairies\, birds\, wildlife\, wetlands\, wildflowers\, prairie dogs\, a bison herd\, and over 20 miles of trails.
