DESCRIPTION:Wednesday Walk! National Maple Syrup Day \n5k or 10k. Meet at the Jim Reed Walking and Jogging Trail between 9-10:30 at the corner of Babcock and Hamilton Wolfe to check in and get directions\, then walk at your own pace. \nMartin is planning to bring some more “give aways” as he continues to downsize. He will again have Volkssport walk event shirts from present and past clubs that were gently used or never used. He also has Christmas Ornaments (c. 1985-ish) accumulated from his extended family and never used\, such as Kurt S. Adler “Plush” type ornaments that Martin wishes to give to a new home (see attached picture below). Finally\, he is bringing some tasty treats including donuts and Motts fruit snacks to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!\n\n\nThis walk will not be renewed for 2026\, so come join us and grab your stamp before it is put on hold. \nThe walk will follow a route leading to the South Texas Medical Foundation Walking trail. You may spot some of the many deer\, raccoons and rabbits that populate the area. The walk includes some of the new buildings and trails of the UT Health Science Center campus.
